At the heart of her work is storytelling through movement. At Dance Fuzion, dancers are encouraged to grow not only as performers, but as individuals. Technique matters, but it is never the final goal. The true focus is helping students build confidence, embrace creativity, and find their voice through movement. Angela is passionate about creating experiences that leave a lasting impact; moments where dancers feel seen, their stories valued, and the lessons they learn on stage continue to shape them long after the final bow.
Angela J. Jacobs is the founder of Dance Fuzion Studio and Dance Fuzion Productions, which she has directed and grown in Colorado since 2004. Her work is rooted in a simple belief: dance is a language for storytelling, connection, and transformation.
Before establishing her own programs, Angela toured throughout the United States, Canada, and Venezuela, performing and training in diverse professional environments. For over two decades, she has taught, directed, and choreographed classes, camps, workshops, productions, and summer intensives for dancers of all ages and levels.Her journey expanded internationally in 2012 with the launch of Dance Fuzion in Zürich, Switzerland, followed by growth into Western North Carolina in 2014, and a return to Colorado in 2016. Each chapter deepened her understanding that movement transcends location, language, and background, and that its deepest impact happens within community.
Maria Barmpadimou is the Artistic Director of Dance Fuzion Zürich. Maria has come to us from Greece and has studied in Athens and London at Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and RAD. Her passion for dance led to her training and teaching in ballet, modern, hip hop and jazz. Maria has experience in teaching diverse age groups: from preschool activities to ballet and other genres of dance in various Greek ballet schools. In June 2014, Maria so graciously accepted the director's position when Angela Jacobs moved back to the United States.
