Designed for dancers of all levels, each workshop offers a fresh creative challenge and the opportunity to create a themed performance that can be showcased at a community or sporting event, or shared as a special performance at the end of the workshop.

Students are immersed in the creative process, exploring choreography, staging, costumes, music, and visual elements as they work together to create a complete dance theater production. The Storyteller

The StoryMaker
The StoryMaker puts students inside the creative process, giving them an active role in shaping a DFP production. They learn original choreography while contributing ideas that influence the narrative, characters, choreography, and visual elements within an established creative framework. Students also take part in green-screen filming, creating original visual content that becomes part of the final production.
Through this approach, students develop technical, creative, and performance skills while seeing their ideas become part of a larger artistic work. The result is a polished dance theater production that combines DFP’s signature fusion of ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and more with the creativity and perspective of its young performers.
Offered in 6–9 week sessions.
*Tuition: $375+
The Stage Collective
The Stage Collective brings DFP together with artists, organizations, and creative partners to build a multidisciplinary dance production. DFP leads choreography, staging, and story development while partners contribute their own expertise through original music, vocal narration, multimedia, visual storytelling, and creative design.
Students become part of this collaborative process, learning original choreography while experiencing how different artists and organizations work together to shape a production. The result is a dynamic performance that brings dance, music, storytelling, and visual art together through a unique creative partnership.
